Bolinas Bath

A former client of ours came to us with hopes of a new bathroom in a recently purchased home.  We jumped on the idea of a design-build project.  The design concept was to bring in the warm woods of the coastal site into the space with the juxtaposition of modern elements.  We re-imagined the space, walls of yellow cedar planks glazed to mimic the greyed cedar on the beaches, stylized concrete floor tiles, and a sizable soaking tub. Then to really allow the outside in we created a complete glass ceiling.  Walls and cabinets blend together creating an immersive space.
